With Gameweek 33 coming thick and fast thanks to our extended Easter weekend, here is our advice on who we think can get you some premier league fantasy points this coming gameweek:

GOALKEEPER

  • Tim KRUL [BOL(H), 5.0m] – Krul was exceptional at Swansea making 8 saves including one to prevent a rasping drive from Sigurdsson to keep a clean sheet. Bolton arrive next and they will need to be far more clinical than Swansea if they plan on breaching Newcastle’s goal.

DEFENDERS

  • Leighton BAINES [SUN(H), 7.9m] – Everton face Sunderland at home in a rematch of the FA Cup quarter final. With Jelavic up front, Everton now have a striker with a clinical finish which only adds to Baines’ attacking potential for returns. Once again, Baines will have the opportunity to collect fantasy premier league points from both ends of the field.
  • William GALLAS [NOR(H), 4.6m] – Gallas has now featured in the last 3 Spurs games, where they have secured 2 clean sheets. He also received 2 bonus points for his display at Sunderland. Spurs will be keen to secure 3 points against Norwich and Gallas seems to have added greater strength at the back. At 4.6m, he could be a cut-price fantasy football differential for the remaining games of the season.
  • Vincent KOMPANY [WBA(H), 6.5m] – Man City will be devastated by their late loss at Arsenal but with Gameweek 33 quickly approaching there will be no time for moping around. With the title still mathematically possible, Man City will continue to fight and they’ll be looking to their captain to provide the base with a premier league fantasy clean sheet on which to build on.

MIDFIELDERS

  • Hatem BEN ARFA [BOL(H), 5.8m] – With Bolton arriving from a demoralising 3-0 loss at home to Fulham, Ben Arfa will look to capitalise on this to aid Newcastle’s push for a Champions League spot. He has been in great form recently and will prove to be a constant threat to Bolton’s backline when they visit this Bank Holiday Monday.
  • Antonio VALENCIA [WIG(A), 8.4m] – Despite drawing a fantasy premier league blank against QPR, Valencia was a constant attacking threat with many of United’s attacks coming from the right. Travelling to Wigan will not be an easy task but United will have their eyes on extending their lead at the top.
  • Clint DEMPSEY [CHE(H), 9.3m] – Dempsey has great movement with a clear eye for goal, which will cause Chelsea’s defence problems when they visit Craven Cottage. His confidence will be high following his weekend brace and Dempsey will be looking to add to his impressive goal tally when Chelsea visit on Monday night.
  • Theo WALCOTT [WOL(A), 9.4m] – Arsenal will travel to Wolves next in strong spirits after their victory over Man City. Wolves have not kept a clean sheet since back in August and Walcott will have plenty of chances to add to his strong points tally for the premier league fantasy season.

STRIKERS

  • Papiss CISSE(C) [BOL(H), 7.6m] – Cisse is in incredible form with 7 goals in his last 4 games including 3 braces. With Bolton visiting next, Cisse will have opportunities to extend his goal tally and help Newcastle in their bid for a Champions League spot.
  • Robin VAN PERSIE [WOL(A), 13.6m] – Van Persie has now gone 4 games without scoring, which happens to be his longest run all season. With Wolves unable to prevent the opposition from scoring all season long, there is a great chance that Van Persie will end his goal drought this week.
  • Emmanuel ADEBAYOR [NOR(H), 9.2m] – Adebayor has has a brilliant season for Spurs, with Mancini admitting that Spurs may have some competition come the end of the season for his signature. Spurs will be keen to secure 3 points against Norwich in their bid for Champions League football and Redknapp will be looking to Adebayor to lead from the front.
